Figures 2, 3: Axial (Figure 2) and coronal (Figure 3) CT scan of the lower abdomen shows an oval, fat-containing mass with a small area of inflammatory process adjacent to the very distal descending colon. There is no associated fluid collection, abscess, or diverticulosis.
