Overview:

What role does the case manager play in the revenue cycle? The revenue cycle used to entirely belong to the finance department. However, in the ever evolving hospital finance maze, more and more departments are critical to an effective revenue cycle, including case management.

To assure an effective revenue cycle each team member must understand their role and be able to define successful strategies. This session will define the role of the hospital team in the revenue cycle, the role of the case manager in the revenue cycle and strategies for assuring optimal denial management.
