Loading... Please wait...Although there were no new NPSGs for 2011, The Joint Commission revised four elements of performance. These include anticoagulation, central line-associated infections, surgery site infections, and surgical site infections. This approach marks an effort to move away from prescriptive requirements to evidence-based practice and accepted clinical practices.
Now is a good time to ensure your organization is in compliance with the revised NPSGs during this 90-minute webinar. Nurse attorney Sue Dill Calloway will examine the revised NPSGs for 2011 as well as why the infection control standards and the NPSGs on infection control issues are very important to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
